As owners of Countryside Dobermans SC we have loved this breed for over forty five years. My husband Bob, owned a Doberman (Nimrod) before we were married and I owned my Doberman (Lieka). We've both loved Dobermans longer than we've loved each other. We started breeding Dobermans in Florida in 1982. After several life changes we discontinued our breeding program but we've always had Dobermans. These changes included my husband going to Medical School while I worked supporting an elderly family member and caring for my father during a major surgical procedure and his recovery. Once Medical School was finished it was on to Residency in New Jersey then finally our last and final move to here in South Carolina. We've thought about naming our place “Journeys End”.  Instead we named it “Countryside Dobermans SC” since we'd decided to start raising Dobermans again.
